Hi folks,

it's time for some WBB updates.

DRUMMER'S BROKEN HANDS !

News could actually be better as Drummer John "Piwi" Hanssens broke his hands in a fight last week...! Indeed, he's short, but don't mess with him, guys! And in spite of appearances, he won the fight! But can't play drums for a while. We first thougth about replacing him for the upcoming shows, but we came to the conclusion it was too short to practice enough with somebody else and better to cancel some shows to avoid the risk of playing bad shows.

Here are the cancelled dates (for WBB only! The shows are still going on) :

BASSPLAYER GAËL ANNOUNCES DEPARTURE END OF 2010





Such as Brian a few months ago, Bassplayer Gaël Buggenhout announced us his will to practice and play less with the band until the end of the year, and will stop definitely at the end of the year 2010, because of new job and familly issues. The band is 100% with him about this decision and we already thank him for the great times we had together! Gaël will still play the few shows planned until the end of the year, but we'll already begin with the searching of a new bassplayer :

We are looking for somebody who :

- can play our present material fluently
- has his own decent gear
- is free to rehearse once or twice a week in Brussels
- has his own transportation
- has already experience in band(s) and live/studio ; it would be a plus but not a must
- is ready to take part of the writing process of the next album and to enter in studio soon.
- listens to and has as influence at least one of the following bands : All Shall Perish, Heaven Shall Burn, Lamb of God, Whitechapel, Parkway Drive, The Black Dahlia Murder, Job for a Cowboy, August Burns Red...

NEW GUITAR PLAYER AND WRITING PROCESS

Better news now : we've been rehearsing with some guys and we will announce a new guitar player really soon!

About the full length album, we've been writing new stuffs during those holidays and we will take the time we won't play live shows due to our drummer broken hands to go further with the writing of new songs. So you can definitely expect a WHEN BLOOD BURNS album for this year 2011!

Hi everyone,

it's time for good news for us:

NEW GUITAR PLAYER FOUND !

We finally have found the right man in the person of Brian Masson. And believe it or not, but he's also named Brian and has origins from the Philippinia such as our previous Brian...! That must be a sign! Brian is also known for playing guitars in My Princess is a Whore (www.myspace.com/myprincessisawhore1).

He's strongly implicated in the writing of the full length album as we've begun writing new stuffs with this guy those last weeks. You can expect to see us on stage with him on 10th november at DNA, Brussels.

WBB GETS DEAL WITH FAKTO RECORDS !

More good news, as label FAKTO RECORDS will re-issue our 2009 E.P. "To the threshold of inhumanity", which was first self-released and available at shows. Fakto Records will give the opportunity to this record to reach a larger audience through a professional distribution network. We thank Duke from the label for the good work he has already begun to do for us!

The E.P. should be available in stores in november.

FULL LENGTH ALBUM / STUDIO

We plan to enter in the studio in april 2011, for a release in september 2011 on Fakto Records. Some new tracks are already written, others on their way.
